About the Project
The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA TBILISI) features works by renowned painter Zurab Tsereteli and other contemporary artists.
The Challenge
The main priorities within the museum were the protection of the artworks, climate control, and proper presentation of the paintings. Power interruptions or temperature fluctuations could have damaged valuable exhibits, while improper lighting could have distorted the visual perception of the artwork. It was therefore necessary to integrate uninterrupted power supply, specialized exhibition lighting, and smart control into a unified system.
The Result
Through the implementation of the project, the museum gained a reliable engineering foundation that automatically maintains the building’s climate, lighting, and power supply.
Scope of work
- Assembly and installation of the main distribution board and sub-distribution boards
- Installation of a fire alarm system
- Supply and installation of an emergency power supply (diesel generator)
- Implementation of a BMS system
- Design of specialized lighting, supply and installation of lighting fixtures
